These coins came as "unknown", and I have no clue as to what they are or where to start looking. I don't even know if the orientation is correct in the pictures attached. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

The first is 20 x 18 mm and 4.9 gr. The second is 19 x 17 mm and 5.0 gr.

I haven't had time to look these up but I suspect they are 19th-century issues of the khanates in the Caucasus region. You may find them under Khiva, Khoqand, etc on Zeno or Numista. I think Krause may list them under their modern equivalents.

Yes, 19th century. There is a date of AH 1287 on the second coin (about 9:00, which should be rotated to the bottom). The coin matches weight and size and looks quite similar to

We got the internet connection sorted out, but I still don't have a proper ID on the other coin.

I seem to have had better luck with this one. It appears to be a 6 Shahi of Nadir Shah 1151 (1738). 18 mm and 6.6 gr.
