Old Town Spring business burglarized before fire set

The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the person who threw a Molitov cocktail into a Spring-area business after burglarizing the store last week.

HCFMO Capt. Mitchell Weston said the fire was intentionally set at The Coin Shop in the 200 block of Midway Street. No one was injured in the fire.

Jim Atherton, the owner of The Coin Shop, reported a burglary of his shop around 2 a.m. Oct. 26, according to Weston.


Hope they find the culprit(s) responsible. Very sad for the owner of the coin shop and the other stores in the building.
