This overview is getting more and more fun.

Here's an article about the Ceylonese Rixdollar, which also had some very interesting denominations: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceylonese_rixdollar

ps. I'm still convinced that 3 is actually a regular denomination...

Yes, in addition to everyone's proposals, I've included some more on my own (NCLTs, additional examples, obvious "hole fillers" that somehow have been missed so far). If I'm correct, all of the Ceylon rixdollar denominations are already included.

I see you didn't fail to notice that the 3 is still there
True that in the past it was one of the main denominations (all the British 3 pence, all the German 3 kreuzer and 3 pfennig, all the Polish 3 grosze - to mention just a few countries), but nowadays it's not so common anymore.

In the meantime, another NGC price guide search provided the following information:
China issued various unusual cash coins during the 1851-1861 period, such as: 30, 300, 40, 400, 4000, 6, 600, 70, 700, 80, 800, 9, 90, 900 cash.
Does anyone have any pictures of such coins to determine whether they have their denomination written on them?

Here's a new addition to an existing entry:

Bayern 48 kreuzer (listing)

Apart from this, the 17th century Krause book lists several unusual denominations under Bohemia. All were minted during the 1620-1623 period and all have the face value in kreuzers written in parentheses below the bust.

Bohemia 70 kreuzer
Bohemia 75 kreuzer
Bohemia 120 kreuzer
Bohemia 150 kreuzer
Bohemia 300 kreuzer

The exchange rate must have fluctuated during that period as the first two are both listed as 1/2 thaler, the next two as 1 thaler, and the 300 as 2 thaler.

The above-mentioned ones are pictured in Krause. There are others listed without photos, so I don't know if they look the same and have their denomination spelled out.

Here's an example of what they look like: Bohemia 150 kreuzer listing.

Good that we agree that it used to be a very common denomination! But does that mean that 'common' on your list is about current common denominations? I thought it was about 'common' denominations in general. In that case, I keep my case for having 3 as common.

There are still quite a few countries issuing coins with 3 as value. Great Britain still has it in Mandy Money, and in a lot of Central Asian republics I got coins with a proper '3' on them. Kyrgyzstan still uses 1, 3, 5 Som and doesn't have a 2 coin. Same goes for Tajikistan, where 1, 3, 5 Somoni is the norm. Uzbekistan issues banknotes in 1, 3, 5 Som.

These are just some current examples that come to mind immediately. I bet there are more.

Hmmm... would that be a 19th century version of NCLT, or did they circulate?

Nothing new, just two additions to existing denominations:

Scotland 40 shilling, 1687-1700 ("40" under the busts)
Scotland 60 shilling, 1691-1692 ("60" under the busts)

Some new denominations from German states:

1/240 gulden from Ulm.
1/210 gulden from Fugger-Babenhausen.
1/60 gulden from Fugger-Nordendorf.
1/54 thaler from Westphalia.
1/42 thaler from Benthein-Tecklenburg-Rheda.
1/15 thaler from East Friesland.

There is also the 1/64 thaler from Hamburg. It is not a new denomination, but it can be confirmed (unlike the other 1/64).

A few updates.

Italian States - Guastalla, 42 soldi, no date (1575-1621), catalog numbers MB#63 / Varesi 377.
Pictured here (bottom of the page).
Italian States - Casale, 7 soldi, no date (1612-1626).
Pictured here.

China 8 cash confirmed to have the numeral written on them:
Several pictured here (middle of the page). Said coins are from Sinkiang province, Hsien-feng era.
Found Krause images that also confirm
- Sinkiang 80 cash
- Chekiang 40 cash
- Kiangsu 30 cash
from the same era.

We can also put the Colombian gold 16 pesos, 1837-1849 (image) and Costa Rican 1/16 peso, 1850-1862 (image), Danish 32 rigsbankskilling, 1842-1843 (image), Dominican Republic 1-1/4 centavos, 1882-1888 (sold item) as additional examples on the list.

Then, we have the 1813 Zara / Zadar siege coinage.
The coins were 1, 2, and 4 ounces of silver but also had their value specified as 4.60, 9.20, and 18.40 francs.

Some Italian states:

31 and 62 soldi from Venice.
56 bolognini from Mirandola.
103 soldi from Modena.
110 soldi from Mantua.

Other places:

72 taler from Austria.
2,500 lira from Turkey.
And there is both 44 and 46 albus from a German state. I cannot read that site, but I belive they are from Cologne because of this site.

What a great thread! Can't believe I've missed it up until now.

Canada has an $8 bison coin (NCLT).

Thanks for the new additions, there's a typo that has to be corrected though: the 72 is a 72 kreuzer (1 thaler). Here's another image, near the bottom of the page.

Other extras:
Bentheim-Tecklenburg-Rheda 4-1/2 pfennig (listing)
Osnabruck 9 pfennig (listing)
Essen 1/40 thaler (sold item)
Prussia 1/60 thaler=1/2 silber groschen (listing)
Prussia/Brandenburg 8 gute groschen (listing)
Austrian Netherlands 14 liards (link)
Venetia 1-1/2 lira 1802 (image)

And it's about time we added
1/30 - Prussia 1/30 thaler=1 silber groschen (listing)

Do we count those US mills. Those that used to be used as tax coins. I remember they came in 1/10th of a cent and 1/2 cent types.
