I contacted the one that I bought it from. He said that he was going to call me back, but never did. I think that I'm just going to wait for the coin show that's in two weeks. There will be multiple bullion vendors. It will be interesting to see how much premium they'll pay over spot.

All but 'Frank Church..." P-ATBs from 2019 are back in stock and more than 99 of each. Cancellations I guess?

Salt River Bay P-ATB is now scheduled for release on Sep18, Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller for Nov23. Right now the price for Salt River Bay is $178.25. I'd be amazed if it doesn't go up prior to release.

FYI, the best offer that I received for the monster box of '17 Effigy Mounds was $2.50/oz over spot, so I took it.

Likewise, but I'm trying to stay positive.

Notice something?

Yep, mintage limit has dropped to a new low. It was 20k and I'm now considering ordering a few extra (unless there is a price increase). But then the last few in the series could be even lower... Decisions, decisions.

BTW, Weir Farm currently stands at 12,879 coins sold (20k max).

I may have made a miscalculation. About ten years I was one of the "lucky ones," and I was able to purchase a set of 5 five ounce ATB Quarters. After that, being a collector, I had to have all of the ensuing issues. Naturally I paid the premium (albeit small) for the "special" collectors edition. Today I go on the APMEX website and I see they're selling the "special" collectors edition (randomly) for the same price as the "not so special" uncirculated version without the mintmark.

I guess there is hardly any interest in the latest P-ATB that was released at noon today. Despite its mintage of 13.75k I think it will be available for a while. Weir Farm currently stands at 13.1k coins sold.

I'm glad they're looking at historical data to place realistic limits on these ATB's. It should keep them from becoming valued as bullion in the future as happens to so many of the gold modern commemoratives.

Mine will show up soon, and I'll be glad to add it to the collection. I'll be just as glad to be done with the series -- I enjoyed it but I am worn out.

I can imagine. I am glad I opted out of this series.

That being said, I believe the full set would be beautiful viewing.

Opening sales of the 'Salt River Bay' P-ATB were 12,669 which leaves 1,081 to be picked up (Weir Farm's opening week sales were 11,818 for comparison). If Salt River makes it past 4 weeks, there will be more as the big dealers will have returned those that didn't grade well.

I just ordered a Salt River 5oz. I don't think they will make 4 weeks for sale.

shocker...silver is plunging. If it keeps going down I hope the U.S Mint will honor its pricing matrix for the next release.
