ebay apparenly thinks that my Reporting Fake/Copy/Fraudulent coin listings is a proglem. has anyone else receive this hate email from ebay ?

We've noticed a pattern of unfounded reports from you. Please see our emails following up to your previous reports for examples.

What this means for your account:
We know this might have been an honest mistake. As of now, there is no impact to your ability to submit reports.

If this continues to happen, your reports will automatically be closed and your ability to submit reports will be temporarily suspended.

Why do we have this policy?
Users shouldn't misuse our reporting processes - when they do, it's disruptive for our community. Under the ebay User Agreement, ebay may stop processing reports from those that frequently misuse our reporting process. You can read our guidelines below.

ebay simply does not give a darn .
I have reported numerous counterfeit items
and you always get blown off .
Total waste of precious time .
Treat ebay as Caveat Emptor from now on.
If naive buyers think Santa Claus exists in the
Coin World good luck .
ebay just wants feeeeees!

I've submitted a few and they haven't "threatened" me yet. I'd say about 50% of what I've reported gets pulled. So, they either aggregate multiple reports from ebay users to make their decisions or somebody on the "outside" knows somebody else inside ebay and can get them pulled that way.

Tough to describe the "problem" with the coin as to WHY it's a counterfeit/replica when ebay limits you to 80 characters to describe it. Also no way to submit pictures.

They want our help, but on their terms. ebay is a funny place.

I must have reported about ten items (forgeries and ungraded currency priced over $2500) and only one has been removed. I'm now worried about reporting any more, after what's happened to jsb!

I reported about 20 items, about 8 were removed, then I saw this email so I contacted ebay support and they basically told me to contact them in the future and they will "handle" it whatever that means.

I probably report one coin a month on average. Most of the time they are removed. When they're not it's often in the last 24 hours of the auction and I just don't think they get to it.

I only report listings that I am 100% sure the coin is counterfeit.

In the last few years, I've been contacted many times with the ebay message. I've called out many counterfeits especially Perth Mint and Pamp gold bars. I've worked with Perth and Pamp many years off and on. I know Gold. I just wait awhile and start calling them out again.
ebay can threaten me all they want. When I tire of seeing counterfeits, especially 1 oz. gold bars, I'll put a last second bid of $3,500+.
I'll take the hit to save someone there cash. I never pay the corrupt seller. Then, apx. 5 days later I shoot the counterfeiter a negative feedback. I could go on and on with my call-outs, just don't have the time. Thanks, Goldflake
