1885.86 Ncsa Exposition E.v.r. Token? Medal?

I'm really curious about the E.V.R. stamped on the front. It also says New Orleans so anyone know what this is? Report this Post to the Staff

The initials on it are probably the person who purchased it. I guess they're all considered medals but is there a significant difference in the importantance or value between the awarded ones, the tokens and souvenirs? Here's one that I acquired a couple years ago that wasn't ridiculously expensive. It's huge - 73.3 mm and 260 g. I doubt that you'll be able to figure out who "E.V.R." is, but it could happen!
