Particularly 1968, 1969 and 1999

Obviously they don't get their figures from the same source.

Going by my noodling stats I agree with 1969 and 1977 both being in the 20 odd million range. Not sure about 1968 but I certainly find a lot more 68s than 69s.

Also find many more 1977s than 1972s.

Greg posted on the Oz Coin Forum he's working on a update, probably next year now.

RAM's mintage figures are a guide only and always have been but you would think they would be more acurate these days.

Looks like Numista has the more consistent figures.

I do know that occasionally, a publisher would deliberately put a "fake" mintage number in their listing. So if anyone ever copy-pasted their listing they'd know who to pursue for copyright infringement.

Most of the differences can probably be explained by different interpretations of the Mint Reports. The Mint Reports are fiscal year, which of course does not correlate to calendar year. Which of course may not necessarily correlate to the actual year on the die when in use.

Sorry for the off-topic, but... brismike, can I buy you a coffee in Brisbane? It's regarding the photos you post on Numista I want to talk about.
