Hi,

I've done a search but haven't seen current info so I'll ask.

For the average collector, what would be the best level of Greysheet subscription to buy? When I go to a show, I like to have a price guide with me. It just takes a bit too long to look things up on my phone at a show when I also have my checklists and looking up stuff on PCGS, etc.

Is there different versions for collectors and dealers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Since you are so willing to help, where's the page for collector opinions for 2024?

I'm sure Greysheet is a good reference but I've never used it. At the basic $28 monthly subscription I don't want to spend the money to have prices of many coins I don't collect anyway. I'm aware of dealers using Greysheet which makes sense and no doubt some collectors use it. I assume here on CCF some users either don't want to pay subscription, they are experienced enough to know current prices of what they collect, they choose to look up prices themselves like sold ebay listings and sold auction prices, they use the printed Red Books. You could always try Greysheet for a while and see if you like it.

Why not do the price research ahead of time, before the shows(s)?

Makes sense if know what you are getting ahead of time. Not everyone has been collecting for 40 years.

Reach out to customer service and ask for their quarterly option. They don't widely advertise it, but 4x per year is more than sufficient for most collectors.
