We've all seen videos of collector's banknote albums on Youtube. A good link for a starter on this was started below with @desiboyee thread: http://goccf.com/t/404541
However, I like to see videos that are a bit different & go one (or 2) step(s) further, such as "Half-asleep Chris" series of videos. This creative individual uses fun graphics (& excellent sound FX) to put a funny spin on banknotes. Here's one on the invisible ink used in banknotes as a security feature:

I believe he's been inspirational in getting young collectors started. "How cool is that?"
Banknote World puts out a series of interesting videos on large sized notes & below approaches to collecting themes:

Recently, I just viewed a fascinating zoom presentation by Jonathan Callaway & the IBNS.

One of my favorite posters is Numismatic Notes with Benjamin. His video stats:
141 videos to date topic is world notes each video is either a single note added to his collection or a topical theme (Musical Themes of Banknotes for instance) average about 15 minutes each

-yes, thanks @currencyden, Benjamin's thematic videos are definitely informative & helpful in finding those thematic notes:

-thanks for adding @orac. Very interesting background info on the circumstances of West (& East) Berlin's currency after the war. The info on the constant air traffic to rebuild the economy was fascinating too.
I really enjoy the new generation of You-tubers who craft a fun, snappy video with interesting narratives such as "Half-asleep Chris" & Fredo Rockwell:

- I think they help the younger generation get into the hobby.
It's irritating how amazing those early USA notes are, given that they are really hard and expensive to get here, for the last 20 years I have had educational notes on my want list. Back then I didn't have the money, and now availability and not wanting to pay import taxes are more of an issue. Early USA notes are works of art though.

I hear you, though for me it's only been in the last 5 years that I've wanted one of the Educational series for each denomination. They're very attractive notes. I also wouldn't mind a $5 "Chief" & "Woodchopper" but the prices seem (IN SHORT) "insane." There are far more scarcer notes for a fraction of what a "Chief" will cost me in VF EPQ...so it will keep being pushed down the road for "to do" list (& perhaps down the road I will get one). It also illustrates how demand can be a much bigger influence on the price of these notes rather than scarcity. [The taxes also suck & there are many US sellers who could care less whether they sell internationally]
I am not exactly sure when, but a while back perhaps last year, I started working on my WORLD MOTIF page for my Notaphilyc Culture site.
At first it was just a few notes that I linked to a specific theme. I noticed which notes had certain images I thought may interest those who collect just by motif. Later, just before I started adding my QEII thread, I added a section on QEII notes. Just recently, after LaoPhil added the Monkey thread, I realized I could link some of the threads from CCF & have since expanded it.
