chadcoins Pillar of the Community Canada 1088 Posts	Posted 02/25/2025 04:25 am This coin from the beginning had no residue on it and I gave it 2 acetone baths and cleaned under hot running water to clean the grove from the dirt that was in it. MTTJ New Member Canada 21 Posts	Posted 02/25/2025 1:54 pm It looks like some type of chemical attack to me. Most of the region to the "left" is discoloured. I assume that liquid to air interface corrosion caused the deeper crevice. Its a common issue in liquid storage tanks. Essentially the corrosion is greatest at that interface compared to the submerged surface. Report this Post to the Staff
