A pretty strong collar clash here with some interesting weakly struck rims. the coin weighs 11.15g so it is a little light but it seems like something else may be going on here.

Anything out of place around the edge? Thanks, Doug.

Adding, might double check the diameter.

Man, that is a ferocious collar clash!

The lettering in USoA is showing a lot of metal flow towards the rim, or insufficient metal movement to form the letters. Almost looks like a bit of Smith Effect above the O. Is it possible that it's a tapered planchet? Doesn't look like a clip.

The edge thickness and reeding look completely normal.

Besides being slightly underweight I can't explain the the weakness seen around the rim. Perhaps this clashing event jarred the die slightly out of place?

This type of collar clash seems more common on Roosevelt dimes, I've never seen it on Half dollars. Very nice find.
