Here is a 1983 P Washington quarter that I have had for at least two years. I remember when I found this Quarter, that I really liked the look of it and the way the light played off the surface of the coin. I wondered if this coin had been struck by a polished Die! Unfortunately I have not been involved in coin collecting long enough to know what a coin looks like if struck by polished Dies. This Quarter has a high amount of circulation wear so I couldn't consider an AU rating but look at the pics and let me know your thoughts and regards all!

Not sure about "polished" dies but definitely from "worn" dies. Nice looking quarter.

Pretty nice looking quarter. It's very difficult to find these in high grades. Your coin was struck with worn dies.

all the breast feathers are worn off (the highest part of the reverse design) so I'll go with a VF 35 on this.

Not easy to see the surfaces in these photos. Coin looks MS to me.
