[  Hi my old friends. I have not posted for about six years! Where does the time go. About 15 months ago I started rebuilding my coin collection. I sold all but a few special coins. I hung on to my xf40 pcgs fugio cent, my1818 pcgs ms63 r&b large cent,a handfull of capped bust halves and some gold. I have been able to aqiure a nice start on a new collection. I ended up having 27 operations! I am 10 years cancer free just like Mom(Susan). I hope to get back into the swing of things. I love and missed you all and the site is so improved since I left. I do talk to Susan at least once a week. You. folks have made this site awesome! Peace, Uncle mike  |

I'm two years cancer free and Susan and Mike are my heroes!
Of course, I am still dealing with diabetes, aortic heart valve stenosis, and a medical insurance industry that is on it's ear.
Tried Anthem-Blue Cross. The most worthless organization since the California Department of Education; which Jerry Brown closed upon being elected governor, again.
I have an infusion port in my chest and I would like to get it removed. My esteemed oncologist requested a PET scan to make sure I am cancer free before the port is removed.
Anthem-Blue Cross denied the PET scan as being informational for me. Well, duh.
Anthem-Blue Cross, which recently bought Cigna, is to be avoided by all persons seeking appropriate healthcare, rapid healthcare, or just love trees.
Really, they suck. I had to buy a new plastic crate just to hold their over-whelming over-obfuscating paper work.
I am now being treated with much more attention, concern, and humanity by a welfare program.
I was patient dumped by Community Hospitals of Central California to $1200 a month Cobra from Sante'. I thought I could save money with Anthem-BS @ +/-$888 a month; maybe money, but at the sacrifice of my health and well-being.
Meanwhile, I am now becoming caretaker for my wife, a switch in rolls for sure. She kept me alive through Chemo and Radiation. She is suffering confusion, mild Alzheimer, and balance issues. Turns 65 on the 25th and already in Medicare.
I'll probably have to buy a new filing cabinet.
