well I was looking in my coin book to see if 08 had something I wasn't familiar with. Could that be a Satin Finished Penny?

I'm uncertain as to why Lincoln and the memorial are so shiny, maybe the high devices were polished up

There is a possibility of a satin finish coin that was released from an uncirculated set of that year..
