Not my coin, pics from seller.
What do you think of the toning? Natural or artificial? It seems the reverse has signs of (old) cleaning. I have this coin at VF-20 or so. What do you think?

Obverse looks F-15, but reverse looks VF-20. Common date so not much difference in the value.

I'm at F15. If not for the wear on the eagle's right wing I could get to VF.

Toning is a bit suspicious but could be natural. If you're worried about it I'd suggest finding another example. Plenty of $40 non-micro '99-O Morgans out there.

I am not a fan of that color. I would say this coin has an older cleaning and wouldn't straight grade.

I think VF-20 is about right. The reverse looks like a possible old cleaning, and the colorful areas on the obverse suggest to me a retoning with some chemical residue. I'd lean towards details, and it should be easy to find a more original example.

I don't have a good feeling about this coin, so I'm gonna skip and look for a more original version.

Color seems fine, just a worn Morgan with toning.

I like it, but you have to be happy with the choice; therefore, I support your decision.
