Okay, I can post in this thread again, well, sort of. Found a 1919-P Buffalo nickel in a Loomis roll today. But alas, it has been Nic-A-Dated. A darker area is clearly visible around the date area, and the date doesn't appear natural. Looks like someone Nic-A-Dated it and tossed it back, since it's a common. But I guess one man's trash is another man's treasure, so I'll take it! In any case, below are the pictures.

On a side note, in this box of half-new Loomis nickels, I've found a War Nickel (1943-P), a 2009-D nickel, and now this Buffalo nickel. Just need a proof to complete the quad-fecta

Cheers!

Thanks, Coinfrog!

Just found another War Nickel in the same box, a 1943-S.

I've now found 14 1943-P's and 24 1943-S's, but no 1943-D's yet. I know it's a low-mintage coin, but statistically speaking, I should've found one by now. Oh well, the search goes on!

Thanks, Errers and Varietys and jbuck!

OK, I'm cheating a little here, but I just found a 1925-P Buffalo nickel. So technically, I missed the 100-year mark by 2 days, but you know

Here're the pictures. Cheers!

Found a 1919-S penny today in a Loomis roll, and it was an ender to boot! It's from a box that's 2.4% copper pennies so far, so it was pretty lucky.

Here're the pictures. Cheers!
