Here's a raw coin I picked up at the Fresno show. I remember when I was a kid in the sixties going to a coin shop in Santa Monica. The dealer offered me a 1924-S Peace dollar for $2.00. Probably should have taken that deal.

Somehow, I've never owned this date, until now. It's far from pristine but I'm happy to add it to my stack. Opinions?

May not be pristine but it's honest and at least AU53.

There are lots of contact marks, but that's to be expected.

first thought AU50. AU53 possible but do to eye appeal the value would not come to that level. i'd be inclined to acetone her to see if it could clean it up a little
