Hi everyone, just thought I'd share this unusual 20c that I found in my collection as I haven't seen this Cud variety before.

This one has the wave within the eddy at the top of the 2008 20c coin extending right out to the eddy itself rather than finishing in the centre.

Apologies for cropping this so much but tried to get it under the 300kb limit while on my phone. In the image I have a normal 2008 and this coin side by side with the different section circled in red.

Cheers

Hi Wardog and to the forum!
That's an interesting find but it's a little hard to see what's going on here without having the coin in hand.
Any chance of some closer views taken from a few different angles?

Hi Coaster,
I have a digital microscope around somewhere, I'll for it up after I'm back from holiday just about to leave on.

Cheers
