Based on what I can tell, this is a Grease Filled Die. However, it's the most significant one I have come across in terms of clarity of the other letters and this one being totally gone.

This is not a "what's it worth" post, I just want to better understand what I am looking at.

looks like grease just filled up the 'O' and therefore couldn't strike up properly.

Clear evidence of a grease-filled die and a hit on the second 1 in the date. Please re-orient your pic.

For some reason the Pixlr Image Optimizer flipped the picture sideways, and I couldn't figure out how to change it. Now that I'm back on my PC, I fixed it.

Are there any other collectors that also enjoy a coin like this, or am I a coin-wierdo?

I personally don't enjoy the really hard to see DDOs for example, but I can hold this coin up and see it's missing a letter and that's kinda neat to me.
