Hello, found this 1984 MoR coin. It has a 'crack' all the way across the coin but it does not go down the sides. It does not seem to be a scratch - no apparent depth and irregular all the way across. Any ideas?

The pic is a bit fuzzy and out of focus.
However it looks like a lamination flaw to me.

Yes, a lamination flaw, a fairly big one also. Goes from rim to rim.

Thanks for the feedback. First one I have found and I will add it to my collection of oddities that I find while noodling. These types of things make the hunt a bit more fun.
