I thought I might put up a photo of the two main key date coins and a couple of others to keep the interest up. All these have effects from being taped into a Whitman folder back in the mid 1970's. On some, the glue has stopped the natural patina from forming. On others, the proximity to the cardboard and other environmental conditions have allowed some toning to occur. The general condition of the coins is fairly indicative of the rest of the collection. 1925 Penny 1946 Penny 1924 Penny 1943Y Penny 1959 Penny Updated progress. Some have not taken up the second guess yet. Still, plenty of time left.

I need a 1925 penny, so I'll take you up on that second guess and say 559.

A quick note, if I won, I'd ask for the dates I do not have (should be around 12-15 pennies) and would be happy to share therext with the second best guessed if the OP allows it. This would save a ton of postage since I live on the other side of the world.

Updated state of play.... there seems to be the occasional infringement anyone else pick them up? Anyway it's all good, I'm going to let them slide. Is there no end to my benevolence? I see next to my name is highlighted in blue in the chart. Did I do something infringing? If so I apologize but I am not picking anything up either. What went wrong?

@TNG No, all good. That blue is just showing which row the active cell is in. The only highlighted member is Oldfordman who guessed the same number as T-BOP. I can't let him know because he doesn't have email access enabled. A couple of others edited their posts but I let that slide, no biggie.

There is a theory about collective thinking, that would suggest the average of our thinking is correct. The average so far is 527 (as of the list posted on the11th). Will be interesting to see if John1 wins.
