I was looking through a Wheat penny box I found and I found this weird looking 1952 Wheat penny (under the 5) and wanted some thoughts on if it's PMD or a error or what (sorry if I get some things wrong I'm not really a experienced collector), as I try to collect error coins and world coins
(also sorry for the terrible photo quality I Couldent find a good spot to take the pic)

@akk, I do see what you are talking about, although a nice close-up pic would help. I'm seeing damage along the rim and then a linear raised portion of metal that goes to the number 5. I suspect that this extra metal is semi-attached rim rather than a die crack.

Agree with the assessment above--lateral hit moved a strip of rim metal inward.

that copper part you see extending towards the 5 is/was part of the rim and got shaved and bent inwards.

It could be moved back it pushed a bit. If it were a die crack, you would not be able to move it. But I agree is is damage to the coin. (Moving it back would make it fall off of the coin)
