Mine is sitting on "processing" with no new update on it. To be expected on my first order from them each year I suppose. they always take forever on my first one and leave me hanging. The also released the hold on the funds so the card I used has more money than it should again and I have to be careful not to spend it and screw it up when they finally do get around to shipping the item and charging for it.
I've got no email about a delay or any particular issue, just sitting in limbo and what they charged to confirm the order, has been returned. I'm assuming to be charged again when they get around to shipping it.
Patience is a virtue they say...

When I contacted the US Mint about this earlier this year I was told that when 'we' receive the shipping email it only indicates a label has been printed. It does not mean the order has been shipped, contrary to what their email says.
I guess if you hold the monopoly you can do pretty much whatever you want...

I expect you could at least recoup the grading fees if nothing else. Mine is still in the "USPS Awaiting Shipment" status. *sigh* Patience, grasshopper...

I think grading them is a crap shot. Get a 70 and you hit the jack pot. Get a 69 and you might get what you have invested in the coin (coin cost and grading fees) I had 3 of the ASE Proof (S) graded one came back a 70, the other two 69's. Not sure if it was worth it. It cost me an average of $40 per coin to get them graded (grading fees,shipping and insurance) Not sure I'd do it again. |

My shipping finally updated and it will be shipped on Tuesday, my day off. I just need to wait till I receive the confirmation on my other 2 sets.
Just checked, my second shipped but no tracking yet or date for delivery.
Third is still pending.

Woot Woot!!
My Exception went away. It somehow appeared 320 miles east of Memphis in LA VERGNE,TN. Its coming in on Tuesday, that's actually better than Monday, as my Mail Woman is off on Monday and usually on Monday, sometimes (well most times) I don't get mail.

So glad to see so many of these on the move!  Now they need to get those GHWB C&C sets rolling out.  I still think the Morgan and Peace dollars will be the end of next month. |
