Hello dear Members! You will be surprised by the fact that for once I am not here to ask for your help, but to share with you a few silver coins I recently acquired which will join my silver collection. There were lots of other silver coins in there, but these were the nicest ones. This time, Hogarth, they must come from a deceased person, as they were accompanied by all sorts of notes , and newspaper articles , coin books, etc. I know that sometime in the past you were wondering where my coins came from. :) At the time, I was buying boxes of coins from Auctions and had no clue what I was buying. In Covid, I took your advice and just bought lots of very good condition coins and started my first silver collections : UK crowns, half crowns, shillings for now, probably Florins and six pences too. So thank you for your advice, much appreciated.

Nice looking circulated additions, but for the manner in which you had to receive them. A great deal of history in that lot. Thanks for sharing

Thank you. I got them in an Auction last week. As I said, it's a huge folder of silver coins, these are just a few.

Some nice silvers. Not a royalist but some of the crowned busts do look nice, including the Victoria 1849 florin although I cannot seem to find the name of the crown. Anybody know which crown it is? Pretty sure it is the same crown on the Edward VII coins. Also liked the Russian Fringe Tiara worn by QE2 on the 1979 NZ dollar. Has this tiara featured on any coins outside NZ?

Would love to see the notes that came with them, assuming you mean banknotes!
