Here is a piece of art imitation work.
Fashioned as a half rupee of Shahjahan from Ahmadabad mint, of the year AH.1037, this looks very much like a genuine coin. On a close look, you can see that dots have been tinkered on the reverse below "Muhammad". Its weight is 3.46gms, less for a half rupee and more than of a quarter.

This is a Nisfi (Half Dam) coin of Akbar from Alwar mint. Obverse of the coin is struck in mirror image. It should be that the die was made in its positive form so that the impression became negative.

Given below is the picture with flipped obverse image.

Two India Mughal coins of Muhammad Shah AH 1131-1161 (AD 1719-1748):

Muhammad Shah was the Mughal Emperor from 1719 to 1748.
He ascended the throne at the age of 17 with the help of two brothers whom he then had murdered.
His reign was infamous for the invasion by Nader Shah of Persia who sacked the Mughal capital carrying off, among other things, the Peacock Throne.
The Mughal Empire then went into a decline.

Hi wise ones--
I've handled many ancient coins, but this thick bronze oddity is like nothing I've ever seen. It came with a pile of Judean coins, so it could have been found there --or somewhere in the Middle East. It is so thick and abstract: just those lines on one side, pellets and a --um-- line (?) on the other. The lines seem too plain to be Arabic-style script, so I'm guessing not Islamic origin, but maybe I'm wrong. It's graceful in a blocky sort of way. It seems to be very old It's a riddle to me. Anyone know what this oddity is?

Welcome strange to the CCF.
Your first coin with green patina has some features of coins from the Indian Princely state of Arcot.
Second coin has parts of legend suggestive of "nasir ud dunya" on the left side image. The right image needs to be rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise. I am unable to comment on its origin as of now.Thanks.
