I used to use http://www.australianbanknotes.net/ to identify Australian banknotes but when I went to visit it tonight it's prompting for a user/pass. Weird, no idea how to register there as there's no landing page to do so. It never required a login before.

Is there another decent site to look at information for notes (and coins ideally). I'm really after prefix information, signatures, etc.

Thanks.

http://www.collectablebanknotesaustralia.com.au
not secure connection, and run by an ANDA member however its very transparent as he state both sell and buy prices.

or

https://banknotes.rba.gov.au/resour...ial-numbers/
for something basic and only the decimal notes

Although my Resource page is not extensive & the RBA site should suffice (with prefixes), I thought you may want to check this page of links out:

I find both the Banknote Index & BANK NOTE MUSEUM sites helpful as they report (with images) notes & signatures collectors find/post. Numista has a catalogue of coins (& emerging catalogue for banknotes) too.

Numista now have pages for all banknotes including Australian ones. They introduced the banknote section earlier this year after a lot of discussion.
