Hey guys, been a while. Thought I'd share a very neat newp.. So far I have Whitman "Letter" or "Imprint" toners on a Barber quarter, a Peace, a wicked BU Franklin and now, finally, a Morgan! And this one is much more than a few letters or even a whole word or two. Too bad it's not BU, and it has a small, cut but who cares! It's just sooo darn cool!!   |

Interesting in a way, but these do not do a lot for me. Someone they just seem damaged.

Its toning not damage. Granted the rim cut on this particular coin is damage, the whitman imprint toning is just that, toning. My BU Franklin has many letters, string and bold and it got an ms64 when I sent her to PC. I'll try to post a pic

Man, you leave CCF for a while and come back to everyone being purest curmudgeons lol. (Kidding).. Come on guys, these are incredibly cool. Granted this one is a circulated coin and has a cut but its about the crazy and bold pattern imprinted.. And these can sell for wicked premiums.

It's a cool coin. Did you buy it with the toning or did it tone in your folder? The Franklin proof is great as well, but I like the coin toning vs the Whitman writinng. You've had good luck with toners, I remember the ASE you posted a couple of years ago |
