This Capped Bust Half is for sale for $120. Would this a fair deal? What grade does it look like? Thanks in advance for all comments.

looks vf35 to me but the color is unusually white and the surface is chalky. this could indicate that it was cleaned and retoning, but it could also be lighting.

Agree, VF-35 but suspicious-looking surfaces in these pics.

Personally, I'd wait for an example with a more traditional look.

There is a high probability that the photos may be misrepresenting how this coin looks in hand.

Better photos or a link to the listing would help. You may have a PQ coin that's getting dismissed due to poor pics.

The coin looks like it was AT, and someone decided to strip some of the toning off the coin. Looked at sellers other photos and too much light is used on other coin photos. Seller has no refunds, but coin listed as AU. If you decide to buy, it will be an easy return as coin is not as described.

@BassPro your mail is not accepting messages but here is the link. The price has gone down but you can have it.

@Slider23 Why would you buy something if you wanted to return it. If you doubt the quality and still buy it you should keep it.

There is a chance the coin is better than the photos. Buying the coin is a gamble based on seller's photos as the coin appears to have been messed with. One of the reasons that I do buy on ebay is the return option if I do not like a coin after seeing it in hand. I do not abuse the return privilege, and I typically do not buy coins from sellers who offer no returns. This coin may be worth the gamble and the seller misrepresents the coin as almost uncirculated. If the seller noted the coin problems, and I purchased then I would not return.
