I have a 50 pesos from the bank of Chihuahua. Like this one here:

However, it has three signatures rather than only one. I thought these notes were only ever issued with 1 signature. Does anyone have more information?

I will post a picture of mine when I get home.

Max L did you get a picture of the note with the three signatures? Would be interested to see.

Completely forgot about this post but here's an image. Still haven't been able to find any info on 3 signatures!

You have an issued note. I believe the one signature variety is an unissued remainder.

Lettow is quite correct, issued notes have all three signatures. Remainders in 'circulated' condition are just less than pristine after 100 years of storage and handling.

So with that being said is it safe to say the Krause catalog is wrong on the 1913 chihuahua notes? I all the denominations they only mentioned issued with 1 signature rather than 3

The listing isn't wrong, it's incomplete. What is listed is accurate.

Sending a photo of both sides of the note to Krause would be appropriate.
