Having a bit of a hard time identifying these two pieces:

I think this one is Philip III Spain 1 real but not sure. Clearly double struck. Weight is 3.4g

The odd thing about this one is it's the size and weight of a 4 reales (13.3g) but appears to be denominated as an 8 reales. Also not sure which king and mint. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Hey everyone,

I have this coin with an Ethiopian obverse and an Austrian Thaler reverse. I know the Maria theresia Thalers were circulated in this part of the world and this may have been some type of trade coinage/token/medallion but I'm wondering if anyone knows something more specific about this piece.
Cheers

Hey everyone!
Just wanted some opinions on whether this koban is real or fake. I know the photos are quite bad, those are the ones I was provided with and that's why I'm having a difficult time authenticating.
Thanks in advance!

So with that being said is it safe to say the Krause catalog is wrong on the 1913 chihuahua notes? I all the denominations they only mentioned issued with 1 signature rather than 3

I have a 50 pesos from the bank of Chihuahua. Like this one here:

However, it has three signatures rather than only one. I thought these notes were only ever issued with 1 signature. Does anyone have more information?

I will post a picture of mine when I get home.

Just wondering if anyone has any information about this medal set. 1982 .925 silver and bronze Christophe Colon Dominican Republic medals. From what I've heard it seems to be fairly rare but I haven't been able to find anything about mintage or value.
Thanks !

Just wanted to see if anyone could give me more information on this medal. Its Italian. Dated 1908. and stamp 900 on the edge. One side says inavgvrazione Nvovo Ponte esposizione Piacenza 1908 (Inauguration of new bridge. Exposition Piacenza (I think) ) So probably a medal for the Po bridge in Piacenza. The other side says LABORE which I'm assuming means labor. Also says NIHIL SINE. Engraved is Antonio Costanzo. diameter is 52mm and weight is 77.8g.

Any more information would help. One side has 'Sic Regna Resurgere Fas Est' on top and ' in memor. coronationis Aug D XXIX Jun MDCCCIX. ORDD R' on the bottom.

The other side seems to have melted wax and paper glued on by the wax. Three quarters of the paper is gone but it would be great to know why it was there in the first place.

The medal seems to be made of lead. Weight is 42g and diameter 59mm.

If anyone has information about this medal like how many were made and so on I would love to know. I think its a medal commemorating the death of Carlos XII.

One side has 'Indocilis Pati.' On top and 'In Perpet . Memor. Magnanimi' on the bottom.

Legends on the other side are: Carol XII DGR SVEC OCCVB D 30 Nov A 1718.

Silver, weight is 52.2g and diameter is 52mm.

I was wondering if this was an error or just PMD. At first I thought it was an error but now it looks more like PMD.What looks like extra metal isn't really raised, it's rather smooth. The weight is 4.9 grams.
