Whilst my GB milled collection is my main sphere of interest, I dabble in everything, and Australia is one of those countries I collect more or less seriously - I stick to circulating coins though - I don't have any modern silver or gold bullion coins or NCLT issues!

I rate the Perth Mint as one of the world's best, especially when it comes to enameled coins.

My first CCF post in a while, but I'm a Sydneysider and I've been collecting for almost 10 years.

USA here. My three kids love your kangaroo pennies and half pennies - so we are filling 3 circulated dansco sets of each. They also have several of the Bush and forest babies series but I am not sure they come from Australia.
I like the koala series and your sterling coinage.

Toronto, Ontario Like the NCLT version of circulation coins (50c, 5c, 2c, 1c) For pre-decimal...just waiting for 1999 / 2000 masterpiece sets will be reduced a bit.
Some different designs Kangaroo by RAM and Pert...
Collect Koala series (non-privy)

Quote: I see the right people are here.I have some Aussie coins and know nothing about them are they worth anything They look like common date circulation coins so they're just worth face value. I notice you didn't post the obverses of the 20c pieces so if any are dated 1966 it's worth having a read of http://www.australian-threepence.co...ine-20-cent/

I am new to this forum but have been active on another one for a bit. However, this one has a stronger Australian coinage group :)
I live in the U.S. but I recently spent two years living in Australia, mostly around Queensland but a little bit of NSW as well.

Somewhere I got the impression a seller using the ANDA in the ad is held to a high degree of quality. I know ANA has standards, but I believe the ANDA is more strictly enforced. Am I wrong in this?
