Looks pretty whatever it is. Its not a double stamp is it? Or is that lighting/reflection on the date?

No, its not a doubled die. The coin is really sharp and defined, which is another clue that I think its a proof strike.

It just doesn't have that "mirror" background to me, but I could be wrong. None the less, great looking '64. Wish my '64 Galaxie look that nice!
It was a roll find....Right?

Nice find on the 1964...not a proof, but an early die state with lots of luster.

I don't normally search pennies but the bank was out of nickels and I was had to search something. They had $25 in customer wrapped so I took them.

I found almost $5.00 in copper and a few wheats. I was surprised to find a 1943-S and a 1930. I may have to revisit this bank in the future for more pennies.

I don't know if I can get hooked on pennies. They sure are harder to look through than nickels. I have to use my loupe a lot more. But I will be picking up a box or 2 now and then. It's fun to find the unexpected. Even if it is a Canadian penny.

Yeah I think its the "early die state" that through me off. I have never seen a 1964 with such sharp edges, so it just jumped out at me, lol.

Found 2 more WAMs in the last $10 or so, both 1998. Brings my total count to 7 for that year.

Hey Mountainman . . . I'll pay you 150% of face for a box of these rolls. I wanna get in on the fun! (Now, watch me say that and the box you send ends up being a total skunker completely by chance . . . )

Ninamason, that last batch was an exception. Searched a lot of cents for those 7 WAMs.
