Nice Lonz. Jdionne, I've bought sorted copper pennies when they are part of a larger coin collection and in some trades. But I'm not going out of my way to find these deals. Not yet at least :)

I have roughly 500 face of copper pennies. I think they're getting dumped in the coin machine though

Quote: "I think they're getting dumped in the coin machine though" -Jdionne For just a little effort on Ebay/craigslist you can get double or triple that instead of $450-$500 through a coin machine.

with Jdionne. I have some for sale and no ones bought them. Had them up for like 2 months. But last time, like 8 months ago, I sold a batch in like 2 days.

How much does shipping eat from the value? I mean keep in mind they arent worth more then face till they lift the ban so your investing in a government whim. For all we know they will stop minting them but never lift the ban.
Has someone done the math on like whats the shipping 'by the penny' or 'by the pound' (hehe) or something? Or do you just fill a flatrate and call it a day?
Just curious. I'm saving mine because I think its cool. I may never even smelt them. Be the last man on earth with a copper penny heheheheheh......

Bish - I've seen similar anomolies on the digits of that period of wheat pennies - I can tell you it's not normal, it's frequent enough that I would assume it doesn't carry a premium. Not sure what causes it... almost a shift in the metal.
