Wow, that is an impressive map!

Mine will never get much better due to the constraints of my collecting themes, but I admire World Coin collections with this breadth

Most recently it has been from Tunisia - a French colonial 20F and a Carthage tridrachm. Over the last 5 years I've slowly added Lydia, Mysia, and some Seleucids. Next up French Celtic.

Same world, older places.

That's my attitude as well, though my places are not as old as yours. Though I already have "Germany" and "Italy" and "Netherlands," in 2024 I added medievals from these new issuers:
Germany: Archbishopric of Trier, Duchy of Kleves
Italy: County of Correggio, Lordship of Padua, Papal State of Ravenna, City of Verona
Netherlands: City of Deventer

I don't have coins from as many countries as most of you. Current count is at 47. This doesn't include five Judean items or the dozen or so German States coins.

Some of these coins were acquired when I was a youngster. In the 1970's I would send a few cents away to companies advertising in comic books for an assortment of world coins. I was fascinated at seeing so many different designs, especially the "scalloped" aluminum coins from Israel.

Have you considered entering them into Numista so you can track them?

Added country #126 this weekend by finding a coin from United Arab Emirates in a Coinstar-type machine.

I remember getting some "grab bags" from magazines back in the early 1980s. It explains all the duplicates in my non-US collection.

I've researched all of them with Numista, but haven't entered them into that system. Honestly, I didn't realize you could do that. I need to check that out. Thanks, @Dearborn.
