In that case, how about:

1874, princely state of Kutch, 1 dokda:

(AD 1874, VS 1930)

For AH dates, do we count the starting AD date or the AD date which has more than half the AH date? For example, AH1237 is September 28, 1821-September 21 1822. Do I count that for 1821 or 1822?

We'll take the date listed on Numista.

As used by Numista, over half of the AH date must fall within the AD date, so in my example Numista would call it 1822. Pity, as we need an 1821!

I've no coins for 1818 or 1821. The other years might be usable in the substitution round.

Ok since we seem to have come to a standstill it is time to enter the swapping phase.

Here we shuffle years/countries around in the hope that someone will fill in a gap with a coin that gets us closer to the 100 coins we need.

If by swapping coins around you yourself can actually add a coin as well then do it all in a single post.

e.g. Say I have an 1869 Uruguay 2 centavos (which I do but cannot physically find it to take a photo) I could make room for it by swapping the country that is currently in the 1869 slot (Netherlands) to another year. If that year happened to be one of the 10 empty slots we currently have I would have added an extra coin to the table.

To be clear in the above case I would have to own (and have pictures of) 2 coins: 1869 Uruguay 2 centavos and a 1850 Netherlands coin (say a 5 cent), and post them both in a single post.

It may take more than a single swap to create a hole you can fill with the coin you are adding.

If (like me) you cannot "add" a coin. You can still play by simply swapping a single coin in the hope that it helps someone else add a coin.

If you can add a coin you may swap as many coins as you require (post them all in a single post)

If you cannot add a coin you may swap one and only one coin

There are 2 ways to swap a coin

Swap a country to a different year (a year is now free to be used again) (This is what I have done below)
Replace the country in a particular year (the replaced country is now free to be used again) e.g. swap 1899 from Germany to Hong Kong. Germany is now free to be used again.

I cannot currently add a coin so I am going to swap French West Indies from its current slot (1843) to 1841 by playing this coin:

1841A French West Indies 5 centimes (struck for use in Guadalupe)

So if we look at the table now, 1841 is filled and 1843 is free again.

I did not add a coin (only swapped) so we are still at 90/100

As per the original rules I now have to wait for someone else to add or swap a coin before I can make another swap. And remember that after each swap/add we can still only have one coin from any issuer and one coin from any year.

I hope most of you can understand what I am trying to convey.

This game has now turned into a giant sliding puzzle. Don't drive yourselves too bonkers Who knows how many swaps will be required to add the 10 coins we need.

So back to rummaging through your 19th century coins.

Nice coin NumisRob and good idea to free up some later years. They seem easier to fill.

Well, I just bought this coin yesterday and it manages to fill in another hole,
1818 Rappen, Swiss Cantons of Bern:

Numista# 17826, and this is a rather small coin...

I'm not sure that this is still part of the game, but I still have a few dates to add, like this 1806 3 Stuber, Berg and Cleves, K10

Reading MachinMachinMan's instructions reminded me that I have an 1869 Uruguay 2 centesimos:

So I am posting this for 1869 and swapping the Netherlands to 1821, supplying this new coin (Netherlands 1 cent) for 1821:
