Hi Dearborn,

Call Coinsupplyexpress before they sell out. Dansco just sent them a big shipment with 8188 and should be there now . https://www.coinsupplyexpress.com/ 800-503-6461

Otherwise, This album is done and available now in stock from Dansco so just ask your dealer/seller to order it from them now if the seller does not have any yet in stock but then you'd have to wait til after the new year for the shipment etc..Other dealers may not have yet placed a new order with Dansco.

PS: Danscoalbumstore is not dansco actually but a reseller as well.

I may have to go the 'extra mile' and buy the 8188 and hope that the portholes are 4 across the top, I'll then erase their labeling and add my own - one line for each year (P, D,S, S - second S for the reverse proof)

I'm not that crazy about the 5 across though on the CAPS Album. if it were 4, I might consider it. With 5 across the coins aren't stacked but slowly progress forward from line to line.

I like the idea of the CAPS albums, but they are too big for me. I also agree with Dearborn, the five across for the innovation dollars messes with the flow. A smaller album that held four across would be more appetizing.

I like that CAPS album and think it will be very nice looking when filled. But have to agree with the opponents of the five-accross config.

If you want to stick with CAPS for the long haul, another, more expensive option is to do custom "A" pages with your #2177. You'd eventually need two albums anyway to finish the series from 2026-2032. Get some custom pages for $7 each with each row dedicated to one year. At 6 rows a page, you'd need 10 pages, probably $100-$110 with tax and shipping. Still would fit in two albums, 5 pages each.

Downside there is you'd have a blank on every row. Maybe P & D on the left two holes, S & S on the right two, and an obverse of P, D, S or S in the middle slot? Of course that would also add nearly $60 to the tab just in value of the additional AI dollar every year.

Four across would look much more even then five. But the major advantage to the CAPS album is that you can see the edges of the coins in the pages.

Now that is a good idea, and a nice presentation too. I sort of do that already with the Dansco albums starting with the Statehood, ATB, and now the Women's quarters.. The first 3 holes are Obverse showing the Clad P D and S Proof, last hole is showing the Reverse with the S Silver Proof.

Here is the Dansco 8188 album page images to help with your decision... unfortunately its 3 across in this album. The 7188 was 4 across such as for labeling over the preprint, but has the P&D taking up half the first page.

Maannnn, what a disappointment ... HEY Dansco -

If Dansco actually thought about this series, they also could have arranged each page for each year. (4 designs per year, 4 rows..) But no, what did they do? split the years over 2 pages... HEY Dansco -

Hmmm, I see they do make 16 port pages-4 across apparently in the size of sacagawea (below image). The Presidential dollar series began in 2007, using the same planchets as the Sacagawea series: 26.5 millimeters in diameter and also innovation dollars so those would work. Unfortunately also the title page they are making right now so far (innovation dollars pre-printed title) has 12 ports, so likely is 3 across 4 rows. So probably would be better to get the 16 in the right size (27mm? or 26mm? ask) and overwrite the title if it needs to be preprinted sacagawea if you must put your S reverse proofs into a dansco album unless you want to try using the 7188 or the upcoming date set which has no info yet. Then tell dansco your feedback you wanted title page with 16 ports 4 rows of 4, not dansco album store. After all you financed all their kids college tuition with all your dansco album purchases
