I listen mostly to music by Prince and his various groups and not just the big hits like 1999, Purple Rain, Kiss and When Doves Cry, but all his albums and obscure ones like $ (Off his 2009 album Lotusflow3r) and Money don't matter 2 night.
Otherwise I listen to heaps of Reggae, mostly the softer "Lovers Rock" type songs rather than the deep dread "Babylon" stuff.
Also 1970s and earlys 80s soft rock and yacht rock and 1980s synthesised pop.
Looks like "other" has taken the lead. I should have added orchestral as an option, I feel most of the others are people who like chopin and Beethoven, etc
@GrapeCollect, I actually really enjoyed that song :) idk what the lyrics were but that could make it worse, but surprising it was a good rock song to look at coins to, mayb because I was just focused on the music and not the lyrics and iv never heard the song before. K

I never really thought about it, but I like to listen to Tom Waits or Frank Zappa when I'm doing anything with coins. It's nice to have an ' Amazon Unlimited Music' account and an 'Alexa' to play my selections. If I want to change the music I'm listening to, it's just a matter of asking for something else. We even have playlist setup with different music for different moods.
It also nice to have Alexa there to use as a quick search engine when a have a question, and give news and weather updates without having to stop, grab my laptop and search online.
I love being able to ask Alexa to change the music and adjust the lights (both brightness and color) of any of the five lights we have in our room. One of the lights is even named 'Coin Light' as it's clipped to the bookshelves that house my collection. "Alexa, Coin Light cool white and 100%" are the most commonly heard requests at our house. Well, that and "Alexa - Read Harry Potter!"

@yokozuna, Harry Potter is one of the few books iv read all of them lol, when I was younger. Iv never had an Alexa, but that's sounds handy. And do you have any specific songs that you can think of from those artists for me to try a coin roll search on, I have one more uncirculated roll of those 2$ 2018 toonies to go through but I have 4 songs before the next request. I'll do them tonight. Also thanks for being so involved @GrapeCollects, never listened to Japanese music before, as goes for the Russian music requests:p
Well for me Wrekkdd I've always preferred non-english music from a young age. It's partly like, I hear english all day, everyday, so it's nice to have a change of pace you know?
@GrapeCollects I think that's why iv been enjoying coin hunting with orchestral music. Out of all of those I liked #3 best but they all have a pop/rock mix kinda feel,and all remind me of theme songs to animes:p first song was in English and very good rapping speed wise if not sped up,but the last video you posted before this was my favorite but not for coin hunting just the song:p it's a whole different kinds vibe then what I'm used to, but for some reason #3 here was my favorite for coin hunting out of all your other posts,

Kyoran Hey Kids is a banger for sure. By far their most popular song, sad part is they never really tried that style again so their other songs are kinda lame.
