Sorry other way around, more Proofs than Unc - brain fart.

I never claim my information is 100% accurate - 95 - 98% usually.

Finally received my proof set .
Different to the Aussie proof coins.
They do have a mirror like quality.

Pretty happy with my unplanned purchase.

So I think I have the 'polished' set, not the 'standard' set.
Is it really a 'proof' set though?

Prooflike, the case would have been brought separately. See pages 3 and 4 for more background on them.

Proper proof sets started in 1971.

I have now bought a roll of 2015 coloured 50 cent coins to add to my collection.
Next week I hope to buy the 2018 coloured 50 cent roll as well.
Spent too much this week , need to put diesel in the car. $2.20 a litre here.

Think I will continue to hunt down the Proof sets with the silver dollars now, seem good value compared to the Aussie proof sets.
Here is my second purchase, the 1979 set.

Nice set, it has the James Berry designed QE2 effigy used on the dollars from 1979 to 1982.

Ironically Berry died in 1979.

At the top section of this forum there is a 'Sticky' from Princetane about 'Show your N.Z coins here'.
What is a sticky? I cannot post my N.Z coins there?
I do not really wish to start a new thread to show just one purchase I made.
I do not think I should post them here either?

I have finally managed to get a 2020 10 cent coin. This coin is quite worn and stained and thus why none of my regular donees will get this one as I have graded it unsuitable for collecting.

I will keep it until I find a better one and then release it back into circulation. You guys will get 1st rate examples.

Of the NZ coins minted but not released that leaves

2016 - $2 (Strange as the 2019 are circulating)

50c, $1 and $2 of 2020.

NZ noodling.

If you are wondering what happened to all the old coins taken out of circulation when kiwi coins were resized, seems most of them are in circulation over here in Australia!

Are you sure they haven't been released. Maybe they have and you just haven't found them yet.
