That's the kind I look at over and over hoping to see something different each time. Never happens.

Nice posts...I haven't been close on anything I have seen like some of these notes... I suppose that is not a bad thing since I think the excitement would be up and then down pretty much immediately.

I have two crisp broken ladder twos - with a rung hung too high. It has the numbers 1234567 and 9, out of order.
Rest in Peace

I like the name 'broken ladder'!

Sadly, just another heart breaker.

I don't hang on to things that "almost" could have been something...if only the letters were the right ones these would have been definite keepers;

...of course I still kept these.

Is the term 'broken ladder' the wrong one for a bill with a serial such as L17284635A?

I would call that a "Jumbled Ladder".

I have a 2013 $20 note with the serial number ME 74240533 B. If just one digit was different it would be a mismatched serial number!

Seriously, though, the closest I've gotten to a really good serial number is three digits off- a one with the serial number 77777150. I don't remember the FRB & block letter.

I got this note in change. If the 5 was a 9, I would have what is called a FLIPPER (reads the same right side up as upside down)

Found this in the cash drawer yesterday.
Wish I could have rescued it before all of the circulation and graffiti......oh well
