There were no circulating Hannoverian full Thalers for George IV, only a commemorative issue in 1830 (Denkmal-Münze) These coins are quite nice to hold. A hefty 11.75 grams/31mm. Oddly, 16 gute groschen was valued at 1/2 conventionsthaler, but 2/3 thaler by Hannoverian reckoning, creating a confusing situation where you had a coin nominally worth 1/2 thaler but valued at 2/3 thaler circulating alongside a coin actually denominated as 2/3 thaler. (The "actual" 2/3 thaler weighed more, 13.08 grams, and is harder to find.) I find that hard to believe.
