Not sure if anyone else has seen it but http://www.psindiancoins.com/ is a good reference on the coins of British India as well as some other eras.

Thank you for the link.

The site navigation is annoying. One page with frames so there isn't an obvious way to bookmark a type. Many types in a page, and the links end up jumping to annoying places (I clicked on a half rupee link and was confused until I realized the one rupee table was being displayed -- I scrolled down and found what I wanted).

On the other hand, it does have lots of pictures. And I checked out images for a type difference I was recently investigating and found some excellent images to compare.

Yeah I agree that the frames is annoying too. It's possible to bookmark pages if you open links in new tabs e.g. http://www.psindiancoins.com/unzipp...llPreDec.htm but you lose the navigation.
