Hi there.
I collected coins as a kid, then stopped. Recently, I inherited a poorly stored collection of German coins including about 100 coins from the 1870s to 1990s.
I'll be looking for answers to some questions over the next little while.

Here's an example of the tape residue that I have on most of my coins. This is an 1861 Thaler, both sides, tape was only on the face side.
Thoughts?

Acetone soak will remove the glue safely.
