I want to show you this little Maravedí from the Barcelona mint that I have obtained, I bought it thinking 1719, but now in my hand under a magnifying glass...it is not 19, it is not 18, it is both!!...I thought it would be damaged although The coin is actually very good, but surprise, in the catalog that I use iappears a 19/18...which leads me to think that this could be one of those overdated specimens that also must not be very common... I hope you can see it in the photos, I personally see 9 and 8, it also depends on how you look at the coin the effect becomes more evident. On these copper coins I have observed that when the date is seen even when worn, the numbers are recognizable (not in cases of extreme wear)..here there is no wear, they are clear, but confusing between 9 and 8 (sometimes it is clearly 8 other times it is clearly 9) another detail that leads me to think about the overdate without being able to enter into subjective doubts, especially since there are precedents in the catalog although I could not find a photo of any specimen to compare.
