In the past, I have purchased most of my coins at coins shows, local coin shops (not that much anymore), and a lot on ebay.

I have moved-up my collecting to the level that I am am just starting to look into auction sites besides ebay.

Typically, I am looking for either raw or graded coins that are in the high 3 digit and low two digit range.

Right now, I only collect US coins, so I don't need a site for world/foreign/ancient coins.

The three auction sites that I know about are:

Stacks/Bowers - Pretty high-end stuff
Heritage - Again, generally high-end stuff
Great Collections - Seems to have many of the mid-grade coins.

So far, it looks like "Great Collections" has the "most mid-range" coins that would suit my needs, but I would be interested if anyone else has any recommendations of other sites I could look into.

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Michael

Heritage runs a weekday scratch & dent auction that tends to have lower priced stuff.
