I see what you're talking about however the line you're seeing doesn't appear to follow the original eyelid. I think what you're seeing is polishing lines.

Looks more like die flow and they are not at the correct angle as a doubled lid would be.

It should be raised a lot more.

Here is some better pics. I believe its 1955D-1DO-002 I found on the coppercoins site. I want to say the pics I provided is eds unlike the one on coppercoins which is mds. Yes the 1954 double lid is tilted. Thus one is not.
