A 'worthless' German Reichbanknote issue from 1922..............reused with overprint for a theatre play taking place in 1925!

This topic started with a Nicaraguan overprint. Here are two more.

1987 ND Provisional 20,000 Cordobas overprinted on 20 Cordobas:



1990 ND Provisional 200,000 Cordobas overprinted on 1,000 Cordobas:



Interesting UV sensitivity on these. The overprint ink fluoresces darkish green, which with the weak black light source I have, is very difficult to capture in a photo. I'll see if I can locate a stronger source and try again.

And one more Nicaraguan overprint note, the 1990 ND Provisional 1,000,000 Cordobas note printed on a 1,000 Cordobas note (appears to be the same note that the 200k Cordobas was printed on in my previous post). Overprint ink fluoresces dark purple. Pick 164.

Nice pick ups "CelticKnot." I don't think I've seen one old denomination used for different hyper-inflated denominations before. Interesting.

For our next overprint specimen, we have a Bosnia-Herzegovina 100M Dinara note, P-37b1. It is an overprint on P-13.
