Of course, that only narrows the gap - this Half Eagle is worth at least 50% more than the Walker is and jcra80 traded with somebody who must have wanted that Walker really bad. I'd give $300ish for an AU53 1938-D Walker. If I had the money (I don't ), I'd throw $400 at this Half Eagle right now, based only on these pics. It's absolutely no worse than AU55 and I'm not positive it's actually circulated at all. Report this Post to the Staff

The cheek, feathers, and fields look fully lustrous to me without the dark, dull surfaces and disturbed mint luster that I usually associate with wear. Report this Post to the Staff
