I was going through some of my raw coins to be put up for auction and "rediscovered" these impared (circualted) proofs;

1970-S Washington (been around the block a few times)
1976-S Washington (clad) (minor circulation toning)
1976-S Kennedy half (clad) (minor circulation toning)
2004-S Roosevelt (ventured to the local market once)

Very nice!

As always, I love seeing circulated proofs being saved.

I actually found my tenth proof half dollar from roll hunting last night (also have a 1972-S dime and 1964 proof nickel)... I don't know if there's demand for them though, modern proofs already seem to be in low demand in nice condition. I guess I did sell a couple to a CCF member, so maybe I shouldn't talk.

Silver Searcher I thought the same thing, the half does look like a D mint mark? Can it be a proof?

Sadly, I have only ever found one. And technically my wife found it, I just verified it was something special.

No proof finds for me as of yet. But I won't give up! I would think I'd come across one or two in the 20 boxes of nickels I've cracked, but nada...

I have a half dollar proof and an '83 penny that I found in bank rolls. I always get excited when I find something special like that.
