Thank you, everyone!

You really make me want to start a 7070.

It's probably the most fun I've had putting together a set, I think because of the variety. I enjoy looking at and learning about different coins.

As I've mentioned before regarding the commemorative half dollar holes, I elected to do 2 classic and 2 modern coins, each of which I would have some connection to. I've already filled the modern holes, which leaves the classic holes. I filled one of those with this 1946 Iowa Centennial Half Dollar that I cracked from a PCGS MS-66 holder:

Do it!

I'll think about it when I'm done with the Dollar Date set but I'm only missing 3 for the slabbed set and the cost of those 3 just turns me off from completing the set and now the cost of gold is turning me off from completing Page 5.

And I agree with jBuck, really nice COMM!

Are the 3 coins you're referring to the Seated Liberty dollars and the Trade dollar?

For what it is worth, the two Seated Liberty dollars were my last two 7070 coins. I was only able to afford them by buying details (i.e. cleaned) examples. I have no problem buying them because my 7070 already had some "iffy" well circulated examples.

I can imagine needing two of each can sting a little.
