Added a group of 5 "early coppers" to my research collection including this
Half Cent.
Images came out pretty well and show how the counterfeiters are trying to make these look more "original".



There are 4 different varieties of 1805
Half Cent, and this isn't one!
The die chip under the "A" is common to this family of fakes, but this is the 1st off-center struck example.

The chip is always seen on the reverse of a genuine 1804 C-6
